These flags are double stitched on the top and bottom and on the White Canvas Header
and for extra strength and durability it is quadruple stitched (stitched 4 times) on the end of the flag!

In order to rent our flag, all we ask is that you just email us a few photos of the Giant Flag displayed at your event (for possible use on our website or video) and then simply send the flag back the day after your event in the same excellent condition as you received it. A Brief History of the Ecology Flag
On November 7th 1969 Ron Cobb created the Ecology symbol and published it in the Los Angeles Free Press and then placed it in the public domain. The symbol was a combination of the letters "E" and "O" taken from the words "Environment" and "Organism", respectively. LOOK magazine incorporated the symbol into a flag in their April 21, 1970, corresponding with Earth Day. The flag was patterned after the United States Flag, with thirteen stripes alternating green and white. Its canton was green with the ecology symbol where the stars would be in the US Flag.
